2022 Vintage
The 2022 growing season had its various challenges, but ultimately rewarded diligent growers with a high-quality yield. Winemakers had to be highly selective of their fruit which meant quantity of yield was sacrificed in our case. The small and carefully selected yields, however showed excellent flavor concentration, especially in Cabernet Sauvignon. Bud break got off to an early start due to a particularly warm summer and late spring leading to some growers to harvest early (August in some cases). Willow Creekâs unique position and proximity to the ocean, helped shielded it from some of the extreme temperatures that hit other parts of Paso Robles. Overall the 2022 vintage, while small, is mighty and we are proud to share its results with you.
